NEWS

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (September 19, 2007) – James F. Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming, will be the Keynote Luncheon Speaker at the 3rd annual Florida Gaming Summit, October 8-9 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel & Casino.

Adding to the agenda of prominent speakers, Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper will deliver the conference Welcome Address, discussing the impact of South Florida gaming on her community.

Jim Allen is a 26-year gaming industry veteran who developed and is responsible for the operations of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, FL, and five other Seminole casinos in the state. With Allen’s vision and direction, the gaming division of the Seminole Tribe of Florida has become one of the top gaming companies nationally.

“Jim Allen has become one of the most successful and respected executives in the entire gaming industry. With the Seminole Tribe and the State of Florida on the cusp of an agreement that could alter the gaming landscape in Florida, his presentation at the Florida Gaming Summit will be especially timely and important,” said Charles Anderer, Director of Trade Events for conference co-producer BNP Media Gaming Group.

The Florida Gaming Summit kicks off with an October 8 tour of the host Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, followed by an evening reception. The next day, the daylong conference program examines slot operations in South Florida, the view from Wall Street, Indian gaming in Florida and nationally, the impact of slots on parimutuel operations, and the political outlook in Florida.
