HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (October 10, 2006) – With racetrack gaming set to begin next month and the arrival of a new governor in January, the 2nd Florida Gaming Summit will analyze the political outlook for gaming expansion in the Sunshine State.

The Florida Gaming Summit, which takes place Oct. 16-17 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino here, has attracted expert speakers to address such issues as state compacts with Indian casinos, deregulation, and allowing slot machines at parimutuel facilities beyond Broward County.
